OfficeMate Software Solutions Announces ExamWRITER Version 8.0
Irvine, CA, May 3, 2008 – Updated Electronic Medical Record to be available July 2008
OfficeMate Software Solutions, the industry leader in eyecare business and medical software, has announced that starting July 2008, ExamWRITER version 8.0 will become available to existing clients as a no-cost upgrade as well as sent to new clients purchasing the software.
ExamWRITER version 8.0 includes major enhancements and revisions to nomenclature, navigation, and graphical templates. Some of the more notable improvements include an HPI Wizard that walks a technician or doctor through each HPI element to assure a complete and compliant documentation of the patient history; the inclusion of over 20 Operative Reports in the new Surgery category; and an all new integrated auto ReportWRITER for patient communications, which is fully editable and can be printed, e-mailed, or e-faxed on demand. In addition, there is a major reduction in required mouse clicks and significantly fewer windows to navigate through in the course of documenting the examination.
