Marchon Eyewear’s OfficeMate Expands Industry Leadership Through Acquisition of RLISYS Practice Solutions, Inc.
Irvine, CA, March 29, 2006 – OfficeMate Software Solutions, a division of Marchon Eyewear, Inc., announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire RLISYS Practice Solutions, Inc., from Maui Jim, Inc. With the RLISYS acquisition, OfficeMate will serve the specialized requirements of over 9,000 eyecare professionals with its practice management and electronic health record software.
Al Berg, Marchon’s CEO, noted, “This acquisition continues to demonstrate Marchon’s commitment to the success of the eyecare professional by providing comprehensive business software solutions specifically tailored to eyecare.”

OfficeMate also announced it has executed a lease with Maui Jim to occupy the new RLISYS headquarters recently opened in Peoria. Jim McGrann, Marchon’s Senior Vice President and CEO of OfficeMate stated, “Our near-term focus is to successfully integrate the OfficeMate and RLISYS teams and continue to provide best-in-class support for all of our software products. Further plans to integrate the companies and products to take advantage of the evident synergies will be announced in the coming weeks.”
The acquisition is expected to close within the next week.
