OfficeMate VSP Integration
OfficeMate users who are also VSP providers have the ability to submit electronic VSP insurance claims to Eyefinity without re-entering claim information into the Eyefinity Web site or filing paper claims! Note that to use the OfficeMate VSP Interface, you must also use the Rx/Lab Order and Fee Slip modules in OfficeMate.
How it Works
OfficeMate obtains authorization and eligibility information directly from Eyefinity so that you can quickly and accurately submit VSP claims. In addition to submitting VSP insurance claims, you can also submit private lab orders and Rx orders to Eyefinity through the new OfficeMate VSP interface. You cannot submit government or commercial claims (non-VSP claims) to Eyefinity through the new OfficeMate VSP interface. The OfficeMate VSP Interface requires that you submit VSP claims through the Third Party Processing window in OfficeMate and that you submit VSP lab Rx orders through the OfficeMate Rx Order window.
How it Helps You
This interface will save you time and make the task of submitting VSP insurance claims, Rx orders, and private lab orders to Eyefinity easier and less cumbersome. Data entry errors will be reduced and your staff will have more time to care for patients because they will spend less time submitting claim and order information to Eyefinity.
What are the Set Up & Transaction Fees?
If you are VSP provider, we will activate the OfficeMate VSP Interface for you at no additional cost when you purchase OfficeMate. Call Eyefinity at (877) 448.0707 to set up the interface. After the OfficeMate VSP interface is activated and you begin using it, you will not be charged any OfficeMate transaction fees. There is also no cost to submit VSP-approved private lab orders; however, you will be charged Eyefinity transaction fees when you submit insurance claims, which include
- $0.29 per VSP authorization
- $0.39 per VSP claim
