Over the last few years, many significant “changes” have occurred at OfficeMate. ExamWRITER electronic health records continue to set the pace in features, comprehensiveness, and acceptance throughout the eyecare industry. Sales to current OfficeMate clients and new OfficeMate purchasers were extremely strong. In fact, almost 40% of the software sold at Vision Expo West included ExamWRITER.

Knowledge is power. We did hear quite often that offices want to use their software in a larger capacity. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this goal is to enroll in OfficeMate Software Solutions University (OSSU). Enrolling in one hour OSSU courses can help you familiarize and train your employees to use OfficeMate and ExamWRITER to their fullest potentials.

VSP integration is in the future! There is now a signed business agreement between OfficeMate and Eyefinity and we are focused on bringing the interface to you as quickly as possible. The scope and complexity of the integration is extensive, so you can look for its availability early in the second quarter of 2006.

Lastly, after speaking with literally thousands of eyecare professionals during Vision Expo West, we realize the great strides that we have made and appreciate the enthusiastic feedback and responses that we receive regarding OfficeMate and ExamWRITER. Thank you!

In order to effectively provide you, our valued clients, with the best possible support, we set aside time for our Client Services representatives to meet on a weekly basis and discuss some of the following support issues:

• Product Development Status (including updates or changes to our products)
• Quality Assurance Status (including any findings during product tests)
• Documentation Status (including any updates or changes to client documentation)
• OfficeMate Version Status (including a report of the number of clients to which the current version has been shipped)

These weekly meetings provide an opportunity for the Client Services staff to meet with support personnel from the other departments in OfficeMate Software Solutions. We meet to share information, increase our knowledge of the products we support, and maintain client support processes and procedures. The Client Services team focuses on client support best practices, expanding product knowledge, and increasing customer support skills. We also use these meeting to determine solutions for issues reported by you.

The Client Services meetings are held every Friday from 1:30pm to 2:30pm PST. If you call during this time period, our Front Desk staff will take your message and one of our Client Services representatives will return your call as soon as possible.
